Our client bought this house because of its serene neighborhood and spacious rooms, but they wanted to transform the dark, cluttered interior into a refined space that was filled with light.  Franklin Studios anchored the central living space with a two story feature wall, opened up the stairs to bring a dynamic element into the room and lowered the ceiling over the kitchen to create a sense of intimacy and to heighten the drama of the high ceiling in the living room.
